Stefan Wallrafen

born in 1951 in Breyell is a leading authority on German writing equipment. Over forty years of acquiring pens and pencils led to the largest collection of German products and an impressing archive on that subject. He founded and runs the FSD (Füllhaltersammler Deutschland) that now has about 600 members and operates an antique pen repair shop in Cologne.

He wrote the German part of "Fountain Pens - Vintage & Modern" ("Füllfederhalter" – Heyne, 1992), a series of articles for the "Schreibkultur" and translated "Fountain Pens – History and Design". For 25 years he has organized the Cologne Pen Show, meanwhile the biggest show in Europe.
